Now that it's almost Thanksgiving, I should probably post about Halloween. Plus it's been like a month and I'm sure all my faithful readers (you know who you 3 are) want to scream at their computer everyday that they check my blog only to find it has not been updated. Slacker, that's what I am.
First off, I want to add that I just checked the weather for next week and I praised the heavens that I'm going to be in St. George because the low for next week in Logan is going to be 2. Yeah you read that right, that was not a type-o. 2 degrees people! I thought I was going to die when it was 28 degrees a few mornings ago. I'm really starting to get nervous for winter. Don't know how I'm going to survive. If only I were a bear, then I could hibernate all winter long and I really like honey so it would just all work out.
Now to rack my brain to remember what we did for Halloween. Don't you fret though, the one thing I do remember is that we bought 3 bags of candy in hopes of not running out of candy. Guess how many trick or treaters we had? 4. Yep 4. So that means I have a huge bowl full of candy that I'm just forced to eat now. Cruel cruel world. But those 4 tricker or treaters were sure lucky. We gave them handfuls of candy! Anyways, I think we just ate pizza and watched a movie. I couldn't tell you what movie it was, honestly I'm not even sure that's what we did, but it sounds like something we would do so I'm going with it. We also carved pumpkins the night before and I must say, they turned out pretty rockin'.

We also found a cotton candy maker and my Brandon has an unhealthy obsession with it. Seriously, that kid, I never get tired of his eyes lighting up like a kid at christmas time whenever he see's cotton candy. It is a must at every carnival, fair, amusement park, wherever. Sometimes I think that's the only reason he goes. So I decided to make his millennium and let him buy it because I figured we'd probably save tons of money in the long run. I was actually quite surprised with it. I thought since we bought a cheap-o one that it wouldn't work well, but it does! It tastes just as good, if not better than the cotton candy that we usually buy. Plus it's fresh too so it makes it better!

Look at that adorable face! Seriously, have you ever seen anyone so happy about cotton candy?! I just want to squish those cheeks!!!

Beard Face!
Moving on. I also am feeling a little depressed today because this time last year we were preparing for our amazing Germany trip. Oh man, what I wouldn't give to be there again. Can't believe it's been a whole year since I was here:

I'd even climb all those 500 stairs again to the top of that cathedral. The view was amazing.
Finally, I have to post this because it's awesome. Another lesson I've learned from being married to Brandon. This is what happens when I let him set up the manger scene:

Notice anything? Let's take a closer look shall we?

Yes that is Homer Simpson driving a snow plow in the manger scene. But do you want to know the funniest thing about it? I couldn't even argue with him about it, because hey, they probably could've used a snow plow.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!
