White Christmas!!!

Well I never thought I'd see the day where St. George would get a white christmas! Sure enough we got one this year! I was so excited and quoted "this is so cool!" at least 50 times during our christmas eve festivities! We Went over to my parents house for dinner and games and headed over to Brandon's parents house and visited with them for a little bit. It was funny cause they live about 5 minutes away from us and all they got for christmas was rain! We then came home and crawled into bed and sure enough the next morning Santa Claus had come to our home! After being awaken by my dear sweet husband at 6:15 (way too early for me) we opened our presents and had some breakfast. We even squeezed in some time to build a snowman!! We then stopped by Brandon's parents and my parents to exchange gifts. We spent most of the day over with the Holdaways eating yummy food and playing their new Wii! What an awesome Christmas it turned out to be!!!

My Best Friends Wedding

On friday one of my dearest friends Sara got married! It was so fun to be able to attend and to help out on her special day. The weather was absolutely perfect and it was fun to still have lots of snow on the ground. I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted, but everything turned out just beautiful. Her reception was amazing and her cake was the coolest!!! I'm so happy for Sara and hope the best for her and Dane!!!

Winter Wonderland

One of my favorite things ever is when it snows in St. George!!! And over the past couple of days, it surely did snow..A LOT!!! I loved every second of it (well, except for when I had to drive home in it from work all the way from Hurricane!) And what are you supposed to do when it snows? Build a Snowman!!!! That's exactly what Brandon and I did! After searching high and low for snow gear that we don't have (ha) we finally found brandon's snow gear and he was so sweet to let me wear it (awww...) I looked pretty dang hot in it too. All I could think of was the little brother in the movie "A Christmas Story" I was a giant marshmellow who "couldn't put my arms down!" Sadly I didn't snap a picture of my lovely outfit. Sad Story. Then Brandon decided he'd just wear pants and a sweater, and after about 3.5 seconds of playing in the snow with bare hands, he decided he needed gloves. So once again we searched, but the only thing we could come up with was rubber yellow cleaning gloves!!!! HA! It was hot.

How long did you date: We dated for 2 months! YEAH! We had been friends in high school (thanks to my twin kevin) So we already had known each other for a while.

Who eats more sweets: I totally do! Brandon doesn't really like sweets and it kinda saddens me. He's missing out on a wonderful part of the world

Whose parents do you see most? Um, I'd say it's equal. We go visit them on Sundays and that's about all.

Who said I love you first: He did. We were at my house and he just burst out and said it and I said "Really?!!" And he said "Really, really." And I said it back and all was well with the world.

Who is taller: He is.

Who is smarter: He is totally. He surprises me about the random facts that he knows. He's so cute

Who does the laundry: I do. He knows where the laundry soap is and that's about it.

Who does the dishes: Depends. We both do it, but I'm more OCD about it. haha

Who pays the bills: It depends. Just whoever get's around to it first.

His guilty pleasure: He loves loves LOVES cornbread. I can't even express how much he loves it. Sometimes I wonder if he loves it more than me....

Who has more friends: Um, we're both kind of losers, so we're each others friend! haha.

Besides you, who is his best friend: Kevin....my twin brother! I reaped the benefits of having a twin brother with hot friends.

Who cooks dinner: I usually do but on the days I get home late from work, he'll try and have it ready for me. What a dear.

Who is more stubborn: Um, it depends on the situation. But I think he's more stubborn (haha I hope he never reads this) And it's strange things he's stubborn about, like refusing to take medicine when he's sick. Yeah.

Who kissed who first: He did. We were out on my tramp "looking at the stars" and he leaned over and kissed me. And me being me, I ruined the moment by laughing cause it caught me totally off guard!!! and for some dumb reason I thought it'd be appropraite to laugh? I don't know why. I'm lame like that. I wish we could redo our first kiss. But I guess it was unique?

Who asked who out first: Um, I don't know. Cause my brother was trying to hook us up but we were both too shy to call each other so I sent him a message on Myspace (don't judge) and we kinda messaged back and forth and then we decided to go Rock climbing together, so we did. The rest is history

What was your first date: I think our first "offical" date was going to see Spiderman 3

Who proposed: He did! During sunset! (so romantic) And me being totally caught off guard and retarded again, said "are you serious!?!!" Yeah I tend to ruin moments. But it was the happiest moment ever! well up to our wedding day

Who has more siblings: we both are equal! I've got 3 brothers, he has 3 sisters

What is your favorite thing about him: My favorite thing about Brandon is that he is so protective and so in love with me (cheesy,,sorry) He gets up every night before we go to bed and checks all the doors and windows like 5 times! He's just an old fashioned when it comes to us. He opens every door for me, holds my hand where ever we go, isn't afraid to kiss me in public, etc. etc. He just makes me smile from ear to ear just thinking about him!

Rock Climbing

One of Brandon and I's favorite things to do (not to mention it was one of the things that brought us together!!!) is RoCk cLiMbInG!!! Woohoo. It's tons of fun and sure I'm not very good at it, but hey, I love it. Brandon on the other hand is crazy good. I swear he must be half monkey or something!! It was fun to be able to get out there after a long absence due to always working, school, homework etc. We hadn't been in quite a few months, so it was a good warm up. I'll post some pictures but I must warn that the one of me is mainly a picture of my butt, but I'm not ashamed! Rock Climbing is such a fun thing and a good excuse to check out your husbands bum...hee hee.

Shout outs!!!

Since I haven't blogged in forever and a day, I decided it's time for a new one (getting sick of staring at the dinner picture! haha) Well not a whole lot's been happening. I wanted to do a quick shout out to one of my BFF's Sara aka Bubba...she's getting married in December and I couldn't be more excited for her! I thought I had a picture to post, but alas, I couldn't find it, so oh well. We grew up together on the swim team and totally brought comic relief to the team. example: at state championships one year we decided it'd be funny to trip ourselves on our way out of the locker room onto the pool deck in front of everyone, so we did. haha, don't worry I had on these neon green pj pants with hot pink fish so you could've seen it from a mile away. We were crazy but we sure had fun!
Also, another shout out to my mom who ran, well walked, the MARATHON! Which is something I could never do, I wouldn't even make it one mile. I get winded after like a minute of running! It'd be pretty cool if I could swim it...haha.
But Anyways, Happy Halloween! Don't eat too much candy or you'll end up like this poor little pumpkin man!

For more celebrating of our anniversary we made a yummy yummy candlelit dinner and for dessert we got to eat the famous cake from a year ago! We were both pretty scared to try it but it actually turned out pretty good. We both only had one bite, but that was about as adventuresome as we were feeling. A year in the freezer kinda makes me nervous about eating it! Marriage is fantastic!

Happy Anniversary!!!

My sweet Brandon and I have been married a whole year!!! So hard to believe!! It was fun to reminisce about our wedding day and how awesome it was. Everything was perfect, nothing went wrong and it was by far the happiest day ever. To celebrate we went to California for a couple of days and just relaxed and saw my favorite broadway show "wicked". Hurray for anniversarys! Brandon spoiled me big time by buying me diamond earrings and a bouquet of my favorite flowers!

SO EXCITING!

I have decided that I have the BEST Aunt and Uncle in the world. They had bought my grandma a really nice house down here in st. george a few years ago, and unfortunatly a couple of weeks ago she had to be moved into a assisted living center. After that my aunt and uncle didn't want to sell the house or rent it out to anyone they didn't know, so they were kind enough to offer it to me and Brandon to move into! They told us that we could pay the same amount of rent that we did at our apartment so not to get us too stressed about having to pay a higher payment! So we're are moving into a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house for the same price as our apartment! We feel so blessed and so grateful to them for giving us this awesome opportunity! We couldn't be more excited! Finally we can watch movies at the volume that we want and we can stomp on the ground and jump up and down without having to worry about making the neighbors mad! It'll be a lot more responsibility for us because of yard work, a few more payments, but I know that we can handle. Did I mention that our kitchen will be HUGE!!! And we have a GARAGE!!! As you can see...we are very excited (but I'm not very excited about the packing and acutally moving part, the mess drives me nuts!)

Wedding & Baptism

We went up north again this weekend for my cousin Megan's wedding. It was an awesome day (very hot though) She got married in the Salt Lake temple on the 31st. It was fun cause I've never been in the Salt Lake Temple, so it was a fun experience. She got married in the morning and my family went on a tour of the conference center in between the wedding and the luncheon. We'd never been in there before so it was a neat experience to go in and explore! Then on Saturday our nephew Jordan got baptized so we cruised on over there for that. Then we had to rush home on saturday night so we could get up early Sunday morning for my nieces baby blessing! Phew! Busy busy weekend!!!!
