We celebrated Lucy's birthday party a week before her actual birthday, so we had our own little family celebration on her actual birthday with just the 3 of us! Well 3 3/4 if you count new baby girl that's cooking. We started out the day just right with a quick trip to see Brandon at work so he could wish her a happy birthday then we went home and I made her favorite breakfast, mickey mouse waffles! With 2 birthday candles too! She was quite impressed. She's even figured out that she needs to blow the candles out.
Once Brandon got home from work we took her swimming, her favorite, then we hurried home and got all dressed up and took her out to eat at the Olive Garden. She chowed down on her meal, which for her is a big deal since she eats like a bird, then we stopped and got a cookie (her request) for her birthday dessert then headed home and put her to bed. She must've known it was her special day because she was SUCH a good girl all day long. Bless her little heart. Loved getting to celebrate her birth!!!
