20 Weeks...Half way!

How far along? 20 Weeks.  Half way!!!  Going so much faster than my pregnancy with Lucy.

Total weight gain/loss? 9 pounds. I may delete this question the further along I get. bahaha

Maternity clothes? I've started wearing some the last few weeks because they are just so much more comfy than my normal clothes.  It's either maternity clothes or I stay in my PJ's all day.  Not gonna lie, some days I do.

Stretch marks? Just the regular ones from last time.  I don't think any new ones have popped up.

Sleep? LOVE it!  I sleep pretty ok still.  Brandon got me and pregnancy pillow for mothers day and it's my new BFF.

Best moment last week? We went to our 20 week ultrasound and everything looks great with her!  She's healthy and strong.  Measuring a week small but they weren't concerned and still kept my due date Oct 2nd.  I really want her born in October because we don't have any birthdays that month on either side of our families. Plus October is the start of the best time of year so it would make it even better!

Movement? I've been feeling her move for a few weeks now.  Brandon even has felt her!  She's quite active.   A lot more so than Lucy was.  I love feeling her move and even saw my stomach moving a bit today! Crazy!

Food cravings? Pretty much anything and everything that is unhealthy. LOL.  But currently it's Diet Coke (caffeine free mind you!) with lemons, hamburgers and fries (this one pleases Brandon so much) and any dessert imaginable.  Especially anything mint chocolate.

Food aversions? None.

Gender? Girl!

Labor signs? Nothing so far.  And it better stay that way for a while!!

Belly button in/out? In.

What I miss: Where it's warming up I'm really getting an ache to go water skiing.  So I am currently missing that way bad.  Too bad I have to wait until next year.

What I am looking forward to: Starting to actually look pregnant instead of just bloated.

Milestones: We made it half way!

Just keep swimming!

It is FINALLY warming up here in Logan. FINALLY.  We've been breaking out our shorts and summer clothes and Lucy has been obsessed with going "owside".  Her latest obsession has been playing in her little pool we have for her.  She could stay in that thing all day if I let her.

As much as she loves being in the buff, I decided next time we'll definitely put a swim suit on her.  Especially since the neighbors thought we were great parents I'm sure for letting her run around crazy with nothing but a diaper on.  Hey, she had sun block on so that's at least a start!!!

You thought you we were done with the post, but we're not!  Now i'll post pretty much the exact same pictures but this time we weren't lazy and actually put her swim suit on.  And I must say she looks purely delicious in it.  I could eat her up.

Can't wait for all the fun summer activities this year!!!  And on a side note, we finally have A/C in our house!!!!!  Can I get a freaking hallelujah???  I am NOT going to melt this summer being pregnant!! Hooray for that.

All about Lucy

I want to write down a few things that I always want to remember with Lucy at this stage of her life.  She is quite the character and I just adore her.

*She is still in 12-18 month clothes but slowly growing out of them.
*She LOVES shoes.
*Hates getting dressed and her diaper changed.  It's always a challenge to get that done.
*Starting to become a picky eater...ugh I hate that. She used to be so good about eating but I think she is just too busy now to want to stop to eat.
*Can say Momma, Daddy, no, yes, dog, cat, sheep, car, duck, sucker, crayon, what's that, where'd it go, bye bye, hello, ball, please, cheese, mickey, outside, blanky, binky, hat, dance, banana (nananana's is what it usually comes out as), and there is many more. She's quite the jabber box.
*Finally broke her of her binky during the day.  She sleeps with it still but thats a battle for another day.  I'm still recovering from her giving it up during the day.
*Refers to me as "Doggy" BUT the last few days she's actually been calling me momma.  Hooray!
*Loves bath time because she gets to color with her bathtub crayons.
*Loves coloring and would do it all day.
*Her favorite toy is a ball.  She has like a million of them.
*Loves to be outside. Yay for warm weather finally!
*Still prefers it if I'm within a foot of her at all times. Makes getting things done stressful sometimes.
*Still loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
*She is now facing front in her carseat and that has made a world of difference with how good she is in the car.
*She only has one speed. Run.
*Favorite foods are Mac & Cheese, cheese tortilla, pancakes, oatmeal, waffles, pizza, strawberries, poppyseed bread and spaghetti.
*Is extremely shy when you first meet her but she'll become your best friend after she warms up to you.
*Really enjoys nursery and they always tell me she just sits and plays and is as good as can be. Bless her.
*Loves all animals but mainly dogs.  It makes her whole day if she sees a dog.  ALMOST makes me want to get one...almost.
*She loves going for walks and riding in her "chariot" when we go bike riding.
*Is in a hitting stage that we are trying to break her of.  So frustrating.
*Likes wearing hats
*Loves water and drinks pretty much just that.  Which I love.
*Her favorite things are her blanky, ball, and her stuffed animal Lady (from Lady and the Tramp)
*She likes the Tinkerbell movies and watches them pretty well.
*She is finally turning into a snuggler.
*She is just the sweetest thing in the whole world and we are so lucky to have her!

We love you Lucy bug!  The thought of having another daughter makes me melt.  I know she's gonna love you soooo much!!!

Playing dress up

Lucy is so funny and comes up with the most random outfits that she likes to dress up in.  I love that she is getting into dressing up and using her imagination. I have these headbands that she LOVES and always seems to have them on her head.  Sure she won't wear her cute headbands but she'll wear my boring ones.

Easter 2013

So this post is like a month late. Ha. I got a new phone and have been taking most of my pictures with it and wasn't sure how to transfer them from my phone to my computer. Hence the hiatus.  But Brandon is all done with school for the semester so I got him to show me now that he isn't busy 24/7.

Anyways.

EASTER!  I love easter.  Mainly because of the candy. Mmmmm Easter candy is the best.  Can I get a holla for those mini cadbury eggs???  Those are my arch enemies.  I could eat a whole bag in one sitting I'm sure.  My cute mom is so good and limits herself to 3 a day (pieces not bags...ha!) and so I thought hey yeah I could totally do that.  Nope. Not even close. Not even a little bit.  I ate 3 of them and paused for a second then went all thrashing shark on that bag and ate probably half most of them.  Maybe self control is something I should work on.

We had so much fun getting Lucy's Easter basket all ready and we were lazy and didn't dye eggs this year.  I could already see the world war 3 of destruction that would happen if we tried to have Lucy help with that...maybe next year.  We just bought plastic eggs and threw some jelly beans in them and hid a few outside.  I wish we hid more than what we did because I didn't think Lucy would pick up on finding them.  Boy was I wrong, she went to town getting those eggs and found them all in like a minute flat. I was impressed. Then she was on a jelly bean high for the rest of the day and that made for quite an entertaining day.

This may be my all time favorite picture. Ever.
