(Can't contain her excitement!!)
The next day as soon as we got up Lucy was requesting to ride the choo choo and the boats. So off we went! The second day was just as fun as the first, even though the park was a lot busier. FYI don't go to disneyland the last week of May. It was Grad Night for pretty much every high school in Cali so there were tons of dumb teenagers running around. But we didn't let them stop us from having a blast!
We started off in California adventures and got in line to ride Toy Story Mania only to have the ride close down after a while. Bummer. I was way sad Lucy didn't get to ride that one since her favorite thing right now is Toy Story, but my mood was instantly lifted when we walked out to find out that Buzz Lightyear himself was about to come out to do a meet and greet. Lucy has a slight obsession with "her buzz" as she calls him. We hopped in line and luckily weren't in line for too long before we got to meet Buzz. Lucy was going crazy the whole time in line yelling "Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!" and trying to escape the death grip I had on her so she could get to Buzz. Finally it was our turn and she took off running to meet him. She got a little hesitant as soon as she got to him and had to hold my hand, but you could tell how thrilled she was to meet him.
Lucy and I entertained each other while Grandma and Grandpa rode Soaring over California and she was being so funny so I captured some photos:
We headed over to Disneyland after lunch and got lucky again because Minnie Mouse was just about to come out so we jumped in line for that and once again Lucy couldn't contain her excitement in line and ran like crazy towards Minnie when it was our turn. Minnie is her absolute FAVORITE and she wasn't shy at all when it came to meeting her. She even gave Minnie a million kisses on her nose. Sweetest thing ever.
Pluto came out right after Minnie and there was no line so we ran up and met him too! She hugged Pluto which quite surprised me...but he is a dog and so it makes sense. She loves dogs!
This is me trying to drag Lucy away from him because she wanted to rip those whiskers right off his face!
Once again, having fun while waiting for Grandma and Grandpa to ride Indiana Jones. Only thing that made me sad about being pregnant was I couldn't ride that ride. It's my favorite.
This is getting long so I'm just gonna post pictures!
This may be my favorite picture ever. Wish it wasn't so blurry. It sums up perfectly how much Lucy was loving life. Dancing and being with Grandma and Grandpa 24/7. She sure loves them.
I can't thank my parents enough for all the help the gave me with Lucy during this trip. They are the greatest grandparents and Lucy is soooo lucky to have them! She sure loves them and visa versa. This is going down as one of my favorite trips to Disneyland. It was so fun spending a few days with my wonderful parents and seeing Lucy interact with them and enjoying life! We heart you Disneyland!
