Well folks, we are on the countdown. I don't know if anyone has been watching my slightly creepy floating baby countdown, it now says that we have 17 days left. 17 days!!! That's almost 2 weeks people! Are we elated? Why yes we are. Are we anxious to meet this little beauty? Why yes we are. Are we terrified all at the same time? Why yes we are....ok Brandon isn't, but I am! He's not the one that has to go through labor though, so he's got it easy! I think we've got everything done that we wanted before this little darling came into the world, so now it's just a waiting game. As eager as I am for her to get here, I'm still content with her cooking for a little while longer. Just as long as I don't go past my due date though! I at least want her to get here before Brandon has to start school, which is in 19 days...so it is going to be a race to the finish!
I feel as though my belly has quadrupled over the last few weeks. They weren't kidding when they said she grows like crazy the last few weeks. I'm starting to feel the effects of being so pregnant, but nothing that is making me hate life. I'm still enjoying being pregnant and all the fun perks of it. It still makes me laugh seeing myself in the mirror. It just looks like I'm wearing a belly suit. I officially can't really get off our couch without Brandon having to help me up. We went to a love sac store a few days ago and I made the mistake a sitting down in one. haha oh man, I sank right in that thing and was not coming out!! Brandon had to heave-hoe me out of that one.
I came across this little gem and me and Brandon about died laughing. This basically sums up what the last few weeks of pregnancy are all about:
haha I love it!!!! We must've watched that clip 10 times. Laughing each time.
I'm going to the doctor once a week now and we're walking and walking and walking trying to get things going.
Wish us luck that all goes well and hopefully my next post will be about the most gorgeous little girl you'll ever lay eyes on!!
Oh and here's the big belly at 37.5 weeks!

How exciting! I know what you mean about being excited/nervous. Everytime I see a child of any age, I think, "oh my heck, I am going to have one of those, and have to take care of it and take it everywhere with me" then I have to breathe into a bag for a while. Oh, that wasn't what you meant about nervous? ok. :) So excited for you, you look AMAZING! If I look as good as you do at 38 weeks I will be one lucky girl!!!
Oh Nicole! You are still so cute as a pregnant lady and I'm so excited for you! You'll have to send a picture of little Lucy to the office and let us know how you are doing.
