Today I was up bright and early to do my usual (haha, well more like whenever I wake up) run on my treadmill. Now, this treadmill I purchased at a lovely garage sale a few years back and sure it doesn't really look all the great, but it still ran so that made me happy. Now I've kind of been pretty consistent of running on it since I bought it, not too faithful cause let's admit, I have a love/hate relationship with it! So as I was huffing and puffing along minding my own business, when all the sudden I came to a very sudden stop!! Great, talk about buckling my knees! Sweaty and confused, I thought maybe I had got the key caught on my arm and pulled it out, but no it was still intact. Then I tried unplugging and plugging back in the cord. Still nothing. Then the tears almost started to flow! My sweet little beat up treadmill who has faithfully helped me run a lot of miles had died...I just stood there staring at it for a second not sure what to do, and honestly quite impressed that it had last this long! Now I don't know what to do for exercise, I guess run outside like everyone else? Or if I were really dedicated I'd go swim, but that involves too much effort, ex: driving to the pool, putting my swim suit on, showering off, changing out of my suit, and driving home. Way too much for me in the early hours of the morning. But my dear treadmill has served me well and I don't know if I'm sad that I can't run on it anymore or happy that I can't run on it anymore! haha R.I.P.
